D Carolyn Hazel
Therapeutic Yoga & Massage

The first time I stepped into a yoga studio, I knew I was home.  Wanting to deepen my knowledge of yoga, I enrolled in a teacher training program and have never looked back. Now an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (over 2000 teaching hours) and Continuing Education Provider with Yoga Alliance as

well as a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists,  I work almost exclusively with more gentle populations and more specifically with older adults. Classes focus on and are designed around the issues that these students typically have in common.

In 2015 I became a Licensed Massage Therapist.  The program focused not only on anatomy and the mechanics of massage, but also incorporated an understanding of energy work as well as a more holistic approach to wellness in general.  These teachings resonated with me and have allowed me to offer my students and clients what I feel is a more complete, intuitive approach to health and wellness using both yoga and massage.

I believe that people have more power over their own health and wellness than they may realize. Using tools such as yoga and massage enables us to find more comfort and ease in our bodies, especially when dealing with injury, disease or aging.

Located in Glenmore Yoga and Wellness Center, I offer ongoing weekly yoga classes as well as individual consultations and massage therapy.  Call, email or click below to schedule your appointment.  Thank you for visiting and I look forward to working with you!
